Bin Chicken is back. WTF is an Aussie Mid Ale you ask? Well think of it as an English Ordinary Bitter but hopped with some modern American hop varieties. It’s got a little more malt complexity and a nice subtle hop character. It’s a really refreshing beer that you can have 3 to 4 of in a sitting and not even know it. For this batch of Bin Chicken we paired two brand new hops from Segal Hop Ranch that we’re really excited about, Anchovy and Tangier. Anchovy delivers a really interesting raspberry seed character while the Tangier coupled with traditional English malts almost comes off as orange marmalade. Since this beer is based on a traditional English style we decided to serve a portion of it on our Beer Engine as well as offering it on draft as it would more likely be served in Australia.
